To cover sending during the period of the Policy, as per the Cover Clauses detailed below
SUBJECT MATTER INSURED
Approved General Merchandise
To/From United Kingdom, other than excluded countries
Approved vessels, as per Institute Classification Clause contained herein, and/or Airfreight, and/or Rail, and/or Road Vehicles, including vehicles owned and/or operated by the Insured, and/or Post.
Per any one vessel, aircraft or conveyance - £250,000
Per any one location in the ordinary course of transit - £250,000
In respect of Cross Voyages to &/or from the countries listed above, (i.e. voyages that do not commence or cease in the United Kingdom or Europe), the above rates will be subject to an increase of 10% of the final destination rate
The availability of cover against War and Strikes risks can be easily determined by reference to the Risk Level shown in the JCC Cargo Watch List, at http://www.nmu.co.uk/war_strikes.html. Where covered, shipments to or from locations for which the Risk Level is “Elevated” or “High” may be subject to a surcharge rate or premium. The availability of cover (if any), the terms and conditions, and the rate or premium for shipments to or from locations where the Risk Level is “Severe” is subject to change, and will only be determined at the time of shipment.

Bulgaria, Croatia, Cyprus, Czech Republic, Estonia, Hungary, Latvia, Lithuania, Malta, Poland, Romania, Slovakia, Turkey.
Hong Kong, Japan, Malaysia, Philippines, Singapore, South Korea, Taiwan, Thailand, Vietnam.
Bahrain, Israel, Kuwait, Qatar, Saudi Arabia, United Arab Emirates.
The United States of America (excluding Hawaii) and Canada.
The United Kingdom of Great Britain and Northern Ireland, including the Channel Islands, the Isle of Man and other offshore islands.

Imports/Exports: Cost, Insurance and Freight, plus 10%, plus duty if incurred

This insurance automatically provides cover only for those transits specifically detailed in the Premium Basis
Countries indicated by * have legislation in place which requires “imports from” or “exports to” the country to be covered under a locally arranged Insurance Policy the agreement of Underwriters must be specifically sought.
As the risks presented by shipment to various territories change from time to time, cover may not always be available to other countries in addition to those Listed above.
